Ukraine is under siege following a full-scale military invasion by Russia on 24 February 2022

On April 3, 2011, IZOLYATSIA provided its site for the filming of a documentary dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl accident.

Young director, screenwriter and author of “Generation 25,” Anna Rada shot one of the film’s scenes in the IZOLYATSIA art-centre and former warehouse.

In her documentary, Anna Rada wants to rethink the importance of the Chernobyl disaster from the perpsective of two generations - today\'s younger generation (school-graduates of 2011), and from the perspective of those, whose graduation never took place because of the accident in the Pripyat high school in 1986.

"We no longer know how the world was before the tragedy. For us, Chernobyl is an integral part of the way we see the world... We did not want to make yet another film, which explores the causes of the accident, and who was at fault. We would like to tell how this tragedy has changed the destinies of an entire generation... This film is about those who made no decisions and were not responsible, but whose lives were largely determined by an April night in 1986 " (Anna Rada).

Premiere of the documentary "Generation 25" will be shown on the Novi Channel on April 25, 2011 at 22:30.
