Happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year!

Dear friends, partners, and colleagues!

IZOLYATSIA team wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone celebrating these days!

We thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who continue to bravely defend and reclaim every square meter of Ukrainian land.

We also thank all our friends, colleagues, partners, and participants of our projects for their unwavering support of our cultural and artistic initiatives for the development for communities, organizations, the artistic and cultural environment, European integration, and the protection of human rights.

Every year, the IZOLYATSIA creates a themed card in collaboration with artists. This year, the card found the foundation itself. Jim Stephenson, an architectural photographer and filmmaker from England, and Zhenya Polosina, an illustrator and comic artist from Kyiv, created a work that combines photography and graphics for the exhibition "Beyond the Frame," which took place in London in 2025.

The work draws parallel lines between a mural and the waste heaps of Eastern Ukraine, highlighting the history of Donetsk's IZOLYATSIA—once a vibrant creative space, turned into a prison after the Russian occupation in 2014. Jim’s photo, framed by Zhenya’s illustration, is exactly what the IZOLYATSIA Foundation wishes to all our friends, partners, and colleagues in Ukraine and beyond on the eve of the holidays.

May the memory of the past be the force that helps preserve light, warmth, joy, and love within. May everything that happened in 2025 become an inspiration to create and act in the new year. May no obstacles stop you. And may those who believe with you and help multiply goodness, justice, and art in the world be by your side. May your ideas find support, your projects be successful, and changes—only for the better!
