Programme of the event:

How does cultural mobility allows to attend a professional conference, take part in an internship, develop a project idea or write an application for Creative Europe together with foreign partners offline? Are cultural mobility experiences still relevant in the current context of Ukraine? How to find and work properly with foreign partners? Where to get funding for a professional trip? How to evaluate the impact of cultural mobility experience?

The discussion will be based on the case of Valeriia Buradzhyieva's professional travel. Valeriia has completed two mobility programmes. Last year, with the support of EU4Culture, Valeriia undertook an internship at Teatro Sardegna in Cagliari, Sardinia. During her internship, the grantee had the opportunity to explore how the theatre team works during the preparation of the festival. The second trip took place under the Culture Moves Europe programme to the Bunker Institute in Ljubljana, which Valeria had the opportunity to visit as a performance researcher. During the Mladi Levi festival, she recorded interviews with theatre companies and helped with organisational issues.
