July 31, the Art-Wednesday project will be closing the summer season with a lecture of a wonderful art critic Olga Balashova.

Olga Balashova is a Ph.D. in Philosophy an a Deputy Director for Development of at National Art Museum of Ukraine. Olga taught at the Department of Theory and Art History at NAOMA, she is an author and a curator of many informal artistic educational programs, including the direction of contemporary art in Kyiv Academy of Media Arts. In 2015, together with Lisa German she wrote and published a book The Art of the Ukrainian Sixties, and later, together with Alexander Roytburd, worked on his monograph.

During the meeting Olga will tell about her vision of the Ukrainian art environment, relevant projects and initiatives.
