Ukraine is under siege following a full-scale military invasion by Russia on 24 February 2022

On February 27, as part of the Art Wednesday project, the Hlebzawod art-group implements an autobiographical, research project Inventory.

The project aims to structure the implemented projects by inventorying objects that remain in stock in warehouses, which serve as a repository-collection. Some items which are stored serve as a material for new projects, some were collapsed, but one way or another they are artefacts that show a certain period of life of the association. The Inventory project consists of documented materials. During the event, a fragment of a film containing interviews will be screened; it explores the issues and problems faced by those who call themselves artists.

Project participants: Hanna Anufrieva, Evgeniy Valyuk, Nastia Didenko, Yevgeny Stein, Illya Chulochnikov and Spartak Khachanov, some of the actions were performed together with Yegor Antsigin, Bayat, Ute Kilter and Ilya Romanenko. In its artistic practice, the group (Hlebzawod, KhZ) explores the phenomenon of post-Soviet reality in various media: video art, installations, paintings, actions and performances.

Art Wednesday is a project of The Foundation IZOLYATSIA, which seeks to create for the creative people the most relaxed atmosphere of communication. The format of the event is determined by the participants themselves: it may be a presentation, an exhibition, a film show, a performance, a lecture and / or a discussion. Art Wednesday is created in order to provide space for creative people to present various artistic practices, as well as provide an opportunity to share information about current research, ideas and events.
