On February the 19th, AntiGonna will present the projects SELFIE and Waw people!. After the screening, Art-Sereda visitors will have the chance to become actors in improvised filming set amongst multiple obscene projections.
AntiGonna was born in 1986 in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. She is known as a queer artist, director, actress, and model. Graduate of Grekov Odessa Art school, she now lives and workes in Kyiv, Odesa, and Warsaw.
In her work, AntiGonna expands mediums of video art and performance with elements of documentary, virtual reality, and music videos. The crossover of aforementioned the artist calls ‘an experimental research on fears, sex, and death’.
My work is reminiscent of rituals that tame existential anxiety by turning it into some prop object.
2019 ― was nominated for Future Generation Art Prize 2020 (Kyiv, Ukraine); participated in the competition Love, Lust & Fury Contemporary Ukrainian Photography.
Exhibitions: Disobedient bodies (The Kmytiv Museum of Soviet Art) and Crossing the Line: Under Mud (LUX Scotland).
AntiGonna’s works were presented during such festivals as RabarBar Queer Porn Festival and 4th International Horror Festival.
2017 ― together with Oksana Kazmina co-founded an art-group OKCANAS. A feature Zarosli competed in 12th Internationale Berlin Festival 2017, Antwerp Queer Festival 2017, Tel Aviv Queer Film Festival 2017, Queere Woche Festival Leipzig 2017, Porn Film Festival Vienna PFFV 2019.
Art Wednesdays in February will be hold as a part of Coming Out of Isolation 2.0, a residency aimed at the elimination of discrimination, xenophobia and prejudice towards members of the LGBT+ community in Ukraine.

Art Wednesday is a series of events by IZOLYATSIA. The project aims to create relaxed atmosphere of communication for creative people.
