Art Wednesday: Your Art

On April 22, within Art Wednesday we will meet the editors of the publication that writes about Ukrainian contemporary art — Your Art.

New dynamic media was founded in Kyiv in 2019. The aim — to support the different voices that speak about contemporary art in Ukraine and the world, as well as to challenge the contemporary cultural context. Your Art is interested in working with marginalized topics and interdisciplinary practices.

The full editorial board, led by the Editor-in-Chief Nastya Kalita, will talk about the results of the first year of work, milestones, editorial decisions, sections, audience expansion, and future plans of the online-media.The conversation will be moderated by junior curators of the IZOLYATSIA Foundation Dmytro Chepurnyi and Oleksandra Pogrebnyak. The live broadcast will take place on the Facebook page of the IZOLYATSIA Foundation. The shared link will allow everyone to join the broadcast.

Art Wednesday is a series of events by IZOLYATSIA. The project aims to create relaxed atmosphere of communication for creative people. The format of the event is determined by the participants themselves: it can be a presentation, an exhibition, a film show, a performance, a lecture or a discussion. Art Wednesday was initiated in order to provide space for creative people to present various artistic practice and share information about current research, ideas and events.
