Art Wednesday: Piotr Armyanovsky

On April 1, the IZOLYATSIA Foundation launches a new season of events within Art Wednesday, which will be held online  for the first time as an attempt to rethink a long project by the team in the circumstances of isolation due to quarantine related to the pandemic of COVID-19. The project is a space for presentation and dialogue between artists, representatives of the Ukrainian creative sector. The format of each event is determined by the participants together with the curators of the project.

We  invite you to join the conversation with the artist Piotr Armianovski. During the online stream, we take a walk around the Zamok and Palm Garden in the city of Poznan, where Piotr is currently working on the new projects between scenography, documentary film and VR. Piotr Armianovski was born in Donetsk in 1985. Performer and director, MA in computer sciences, founder of Pic Pic artistic group. He studied theater and performance in Kyiv, Lviv and Moscow, including Janusz Baldig's "School of Performance" and Marina Abramovich’s "In the Presence of an Artist". After the outbreak of the war in his native city of Donetsk, he worked mainly as a director of documentary films and theater. He is the winner of numerous prizes and awards, in particular, Ukrainian Biennale of Young Artists 2017 and 2019, Docudays 2018, MUCHi 2019.
