Russian illegal prison on IZOLYATSIA premises has been operational for 10 years.

Last saturday, November the 19th, IZOLYATSIA lecture hall had no free seats: journalists, philologists, museum and cultural organization workers, pupils and students were listening to Oksana Zabuzhko reading her poems.

Poetess told that Donetsk always was a home town of Vasyl Stus for her. She read his poem "Bold mountain", and accentuated the role of people from Donbass in development of dessident movement and civil initiatives in late 80-ies - beginning of 90-ies.

Writer and poetress shared her impressions of visiting Svyatogorsk and Donetsk, noted definite depression in small towns and villages between those two cities.

Zabuzhko confessed, that beeing a writer is hard labour of soul and craft. Answering to a question about her favourite book, she told that since her childhood her favourite book is "Winnie the Pooh" translated by Leonid Solonko.

That\'s the way the first vision of Oksana Zabuzhko to Donetsk took place, and it\'s probably to consider it to be a start of a beautiful friendship.
