IZOLYATSIA shows "The Story of Film: An Odyssey" by Mark Cousins​​

In partnership with the Odessa International Film Festival IZOLYATSIA begins a series of film screenings under the auspices of the Summer School of Film Critics of OIFF. From July 6th till 27th, all IZO Saturdays and Sundays will be cinematic!

We will show the 15-episode film "The Story of Film: An Odyssey" directed and narrated by British film critic, writer and director Mark Cousins​​, which covers 120 years of film history. You'll see interviews with legendary filmmakers about the evolution of technology and drama of movies, rare footages and undeservedly forgotten names, an exhaustive and informative narration about the history of cinema, a sincere declaration of love to this genre.

All screenings will be divided into thematic units to make study of the subject easy and interesting.
