Graffiti by APL315 in Mariupol
In November 2015, Ukrainian street artist APL315 painted a wall of the Illich Iron & Steel Works plant in Mariupol.
According to APL315, the work represents two locals in their typical outfit, overwhelmed by art which stimulates them to fight against the factories polluting the environment.
The work supports the idea of artistic and civil resistance and is aimed at activating the local community in Mariupol.
Since 2010, IZOLYATSIA and APL315 have collaborated on several art projects in Donetsk region using creativity as a catalyst for social and cultural change.
