ZMINA: Rebuilding Final Event

On April 30, 2025, at 14:00 CET / 15:00 Kyiv, the IZOLYATSIA Foundation, together with Malý Berlín and Trans Europe Halles, invites you to the final presentation of the ZMINA: Rebuilding programme.
ZMINA: Rebuilding is a special initiative that supports Ukraine’s Cultural and Creative Sectors. The programme has provided €1.4 million in funding to cultural organisations from Creative Europe countries collaborating with Ukrainian partners and national Ukrainian projects. Selected participants developed and showcased works that foster, inspire, or reflect public discourse on the theme of “rebuilding” — encompassing identity, social norms, communities, relationships, and infrastructure. In addition, participants contributed to promoting the capacities of Ukraine’s cultural and creative sectors internationally. The initiative has included intensive capacity-building for Ukrainian cultural managers and organisations, including public cultural institutions. These efforts have complemented the sub-granting scheme, along with communication and dissemination activities both within Ukraine and abroad.
The final presentation will feature an overview of key quantitative and qualitative results. The session will highlight the programme’s impact on local communities in Ukraine and abroad, contributions to cultural diplomacy, and the enhanced visibility of Ukrainian culture across Creative Europe countries. Technical innovations designed to streamline programme management and publicly available capacity-building resources and dissemination materials will also be introduced. Selected sub-grantees will present their projects and share their outcomes and insights.
The event will take place on Zoom and will be live-streamed on YouTube. The presentation will be conducted in English.
