On Sunday, July 10, at 3 PM, as part of the Social Contract project, IZOLYATSIA will host the Mexican artist Cynthia Gutierrez, author of the Inhabiting Shadows artistic intervention at the former site of the Lenin monument in Kyiv.
The artist will talk about her practice based on the research of monuments, commemorative objects and histories related to them. The geography of Gutierrez’s works encompasses Latin America, Europe and Africa.
Gutierrez will speak in detail about her project Inhabiting Shadows, which will be open on July 9, at 5 PM, at the former site of the Lenin monument on Taras Shevchenko Boulevard in Kyiv. The artist invites everyone to discuss her artistic intervention.
The artist talk will take place at 8 Naberezhno-Luhova Street, Second Floor.
