Social Contract Curatorial Tour, Guy Königstein’s Lecture, and Panel Discussion

On Friday, July 1, at 3.30 PM, as part of the Social Contract project by IZOLYATSIA, a curatorial tour of the exhibition by Kateryna Filyuk will take place, followed by a lecture/performance Elastic Commemoration by Guy Königstein and a panel discussion on commemorative objects in the public space.

5 PM – lecture/performance Elastic Commemoration by Guy Königstein

6 PM – panel discussion Commemorative Objects in the 21^st Century. Participants:
Svitlana Shlipchenko – urban scholar, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Centre of Urban Studies.
Oksana Barshynova – curator, head of the XX – XXI century art department at the Ukrainian National Art Museum.
Guy Königstein – artist (Israel), participant of the Social Contract project.
Owen Hatherley – writer and journalist (UK), who writes primarily on architecture, politics and culture. Author of Landscapes of Communism (Penguin, 2015).
Kateryna Filyuk – curator of the Social Contract project.

All events will take place at 8 Naberezhno-Luhova Street, Second Floor.
