Gorlovka: Abandoned Symbols of Soviet Culture

An abandoned Soviet-era "palace of culture\' situated in Gorlovka amazed us with its grandeur and its large-scale decay. The photopraphers with interest studied the building\'s interior, and tried to read the histories of people whose belongings, photo-films, documents and photos were scattered around its empty halls. Behind the "palace of culture," we found an abandoned staidum, which attracted our residents with its desert-like landscape, while the passing by cows became subjects of a photo-shoot.
