Boris Mikhailov at 54th Venice Biennale

Works of the curator of summer photo-residencies of IZOLYATSIA were presented at "World belongs to us" exhibition at palazzo Gracci in Venice from 4th of June until 27th of November 2011. At the oldest art-forum of the world, Boris Mikhailov presents Ukraine with photograpies called "Untitled" (from "Luriki" series), shot in the period of 1971 - 1985.

Luriki is home photography, which represents internal soviet culture, which was developing parallely with high culture.
