ZMINA:Resilience International Co-Creations Call #1 grantees
The final list of grantees of the ZMINA:Resilience project in the International Co-Creations Call #1 has been finalised. The IZOLYATSIA Foundation congratulates the 7 winning teams that received the highest scores from independent evaluators and met the mandatory conditions required before signing the agreement.

Project Name: Performance in times of crisis
Project Description: Centered on the art workshop as a strategic tool for resilience, this project unites 4 Ukrainian and 4 Czech artists to navigate contemporary challenges through collaboration. Across residencies in the Czech Republic and Ukraine, performers engage the public via workshops and live events, fostering deep social solidarity. The initiative ensures a long-term impact by publishing a specialized practical manual, codifying performance strategies as a resource for art education.

Project Name: School of Political Performance x New Performance Turku
Project Description: School of Political Performance x New Performance Turku is a collaborative residency and performance project bringing together Ukrainian and Finnish performance artists. Through collective creation, workshops, public interventions, and performances in Finland and Ukraine, the project explores resilience, artistic continuity, and democratic dialogue. The project develops a long-term international cooperation model supporting artists affected by war and displacement.

Project Name: 7 Lives — Echoes from Babyn Yar: A Co-Created Video Artwork
Project Description: This application supports a self-contained co-creation package within the wider Kyiv–Berlin opera 7 Lives — Echoes from Babyn Yar: a new video artwork by Piotr Armianovski, developed from performative material created with Kathinka Sonneborn and grounded in research and dramaturgical input from the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar". The package also includes public presentations in Berlin and Kyiv, including a dedicated public discussion.

Project Description: Theatrical Windows: Ukraine-Romania is a project that aims to establish links between the theatre communities of the two countries, with a focus on reciprocal integration of contemporary drama into the theatre sector, shared cultural growth, overcoming stereotypes, supporting the resilience of the cultural sector during wartime, and raising awareness of shared threats and values.

Project Name: Three Tables / Три трапези / Trei mese
Project Description: Three Tables is a Romania-Ukraine co-creation documenting how culinary and ritual heritage survives under different pressures of displacement. Through fieldwork, a residency in Tulcea, Romania, a digital archive of 20-25 paired entries, and three public cooking-and-storytelling gatherings in Odesa, Tulcea (Romanian-Ukrainian minority), and Cluj (Ukrainian refugees), the project links three communities holding the same heritage in three different historical moments.

Project Name: HERside
Project Description: HERside unites two UNESCO Creative Cities – Košice (Media Arts) and Lviv (Literature). CINEFIL and the Hnat Hotkevych City Palace of Culture co-create an exhibition by Slovak and Ukrainian female cultural professionals exploring resilience amid war and other global challenges. The project is delivered through 6 residencies, 6 public presentations, and an online database, with the exhibition shown in both countries. The model is designed to scale to new UNESCO Creative Cities in future calls.

Project Name: APOSTAXIS
Project Description: For those who are displaced, some things fit in a suitcase, while traditions from family, friends, or neighbourhoods are remembered: shaping conscious and subconscious ways of living our lives. APOSTAXIS recognises the need to distill what is important for resilience and solidarity when rebuilding in new contexts. It comprises residencies, co-creation workshops and exhibitions in Ukraine and Cyprus, exploring resonances between these territories' histories of internal and external displacement.
