Lecture Sonia Delaunay: In Search of Universal Design

On Wednesday, March 2, at 7 pm, as part of Sonia Delaunay 130 poster exhibition by IZOLYATSIA, Zoya Zvyniatskivska, art critic and fashion historian, will read a lecture Sonia Delaunay: In Search of Universal Design.

Zoya Zvyniatskivska:

“Her prints, created a hundred years ago, still look ultrafashionable. Her artworks, textile design and book illustrations haven’t lost any of their innovative nature. Her approach towards design as a universal art that gives form to material world around us is still understood by few. A European artist calling herself Ukrainian her entire life, is still mostly unknown in our country, and thus must be rediscovered in Ukraine”.

The lecture will be held at 8 Naberezhno-Luhova Street, Third Floor.
