Pavlo Kovach, born in 1987 in Ukraine, is a Lviv-based artist. He studied at the Uzhgorod Art College name of A. Erdeli and at the Lviv National Academy of Arts, where he received his BA and MA degrees. Co-founder of Detenpyla gallery and Еfremova26 gallery artist-run spaces. Since 2009 Pavlo Kovach has been actively exhibiting both in Ukraine (Dzyga gallery, Bottega gallery, Detenpyla gallery) and abroad. He was a co-author of all the works of the Open Group collective and together with the group he won PinchukArtCentre Prize 2015 and participated in the Venice Biennale in 2015-2017 and in 2019 as curators of the Pavilions of Ukraine ,in 2020 he has been a curator at the Lviv Art Center.

Pavlo Kovach in his artistic practice is interested in the creation of a mythological image of a real person. The concept of his work lays in the statement that the basis of the person's image lies in the real-life story that the artist develops and works with. Pavlo Kovach fills a fictional character`s life with stories, artifacts, and artworks, which have been produced, or may have been produced, by this particular character.

Valentyna Byero, was born in 1987 in Donetsk, constantly on art trips, but a long quarantine has made changes, the last stop is Lviv, Ukraine. 

Donetsk Art College, 2002-2006, Lviv National Academy of Art 2006-2012, artistic ceramics (Master's degree with honors). Participant of a student’s exchange between departments of ceramics of Lviv Academy of Arts, Ukraine and Minsk Academy of Arts, Belarus, 2010. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine - since 2012. Scholar of the Scholarship of the President of Ukraine for Young Artists 2020.

Work mostly with ceramics, sculpture, textiles, handmade paper, as well as painting and graphics. Since 2005 has participated in more than 120 regional, national and international exhibitions, plein-airs, symposiums, festivals and art residences in Ukraine and abroad: Bulgaria, Belarus, Poland, Montenegro, Slovakia, Switzerland, Cyprus, China, Japan.

Monumental ceramic sculpture compositions installed in two Donetsk city parks (2012 and 2013) and seven park and garden sculptures became part of  the yard of the boarding school in Zaporizhia region, Ukraine. In 2019, Valentina became the first Ukrainian artist selected by the world-famous residence Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park in Japan, working at the Museum of Art Ceramics, to participate in the "Guest artist residence program", which resulted in the embodiment of a monumental sculpture for the park and a personal exhibition-presentation. The works are stored in Changchun International Ceramic Gallery in Changchun, China and others.
