Salt Mining master class

On 26 September at 13:00 in the IZOLYATSIA Foundation building the artist Anton Lohov will lead a master class on the subject of Salt Mining, where the task will be to make a model for a sculpture from cardboard. The artist suggests that children and their parents fantasise and imagine a model for a sculpture reflecting the salt mining process, to which the city owes its name. 

The master class will last for 1.5 hours, all necessary materials will be provided, if possible bring your own scissors for paper.

Anton Lohov was born in 1984 in Rozdilna, Odesa Oblast. In 2004 he graduated from the M. B. Grekov Odessa Art School, and in 2010 from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. He is a grant-holder from the Ya Gallery Art Centre. Since 2008 he has been actively taking part in group exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. He lives and works in Kyiv.
