PAUL CHANEY

Paul is the lead artist/director of FIELDCLUB – a four-acre field where art is used as a catalyst and facilitator to investigate models of low-impact self-sufficiency and off-grid living. Over the last 12 years Paul has been involved in a number of artist-led projects and spaces in Cornwall. In 2009-2010 he worked with Urbanomic – a small international arts organisation and publishing house – to deliver a program of art events and residencies in Falmouth and London. Recent solo shows include: The Sun is Black, Museum of Art and Design (Benesov, 2012), and Divus (Prague, 2011); The Lonely Now, Goldfish (Penzance, 2008). ELISE FLORENTY & MARCEL TÜRKOWSKY

Elise Florenty was born in December 1978 in Pessac (France). After studying Theory and History of Cinema at Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris, Elise Florenty graduated from the National Superior Fine Art School, Paris-Cergy, then from the masters course of the National Superior Fine Art School of Lyon with Jean-Pierre Rehm and Marie-José Burki and finally from the animation masters course of the National Superior Decorative Art School, Paris.
Marcel Türkowsky was born in January 1978 in East Berlin (Germany). He studied philosophy and ethnomusicology at Humboldt University, Berlin, thereafter received a Masters from the Academy of Arts (UDK), Berlin, Germany in 2008. In 2010 he started the Harpokratés Edition and founded the exhibition and research salon Whistle, Minotaure! for exhibitions, lectures, and events at the intersection of fine art, music and anthropology, collaborating with Sam Ashley, Erik Bünger, Henry Flynt, C.C.Hennix, Invernomuto, etc.

DANIEL MALONE

Completed a degree in Art History at the University of Auckland in 1990, spent 1991-92 at the Elam School of Fine Arts, completed degree in Intermedia (Time Based Arts) at the University of Auckland in 1996. In 1992 was one of the founding members of TESTSTRIP, New Zealand’s first artist-run space and in 2001 was one of the five artists and critics to found Cuckoo – a contemporary art project that worked critically and transiently through existing galleries. In 2007 co-founded Gambia Castle, the country’s first artist-run gallery. In 2002 took a break from exhibiting to concentrate on other projects including recording a hip-hop album and consolidating own music label, AoAtearoa Records. Spent five months studying Mandarin at Beijing Language and Culture University, Beijing, China. Held teaching positions between 1998-2001 in Photography and Contextual Studies at the Manukau Institute of Technology, School of Art and Design and in 2003 took a position as lecturer in Intermedia (Time Based Arts) and later in 2004 also in Sculpture, at the Elam School of Fine Arts, University of Auckland, eventually holding position as Discipline Head of Time Based Arts at Elam. Selected projects and shows: Made Active – The Gesture of Performance, Auckland City Art Gallery (Auckland, 2012); Burn What You Cannot Steal, Galeria Nova (Zagreb, 2011); Eyes Looking for a Head to Inhabit, Muzeum Sztuki (Lodz, 2011), Lodz Biennale: From Liberty Square to Independence Square (Lodz, 2010); The Secret Circles of Torun, for A Subjective Map of Torun, CoCA (Torun, 2010). Currently lives and works in Auckland, New Zealand and Warsaw, Poland.
