Presentation of works by residents of the Grounding short-term art residency programme

On 30 September at 15:00 in the IZOLYATSIA Foundation’s office in Soledar there will be a presentation of works by residents of the Grounding short-term art residency. 

The residency took place in Soledar from January to August 2021, and during this period accepted 19 researchers and artists who worked on their project, visited Soledar and surrounding areas, familiarised themselves with museum archives and discovered unbelievable facts from local history. Some of the projects are in the post-production stage, others are already finished. Works by Open Place, Nazarii Zanoz, Valentina Bero, Zoya Laktionova, Natalia Liubchenkova, Vitalii Agapeev, Bohdana Voytenko, Natalia Mikhalchenko and Iulia Kirichenko, Evhen Korshunov, Svyatoslav Koverznev and ruins collective will be presented at a mini-exhibition. One can see Astian Rey’s sculpture and Roksolana Dudka’s mural in the city’s public space on a permanent basis. The residency took place with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
