Info Session: Photography School by ICON× and the Danish Cultural Institute

The Danish Cultural Institute, in collaboration with ICON×, Good People ApS and IZOLYATSIA Foundation, invites photographers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine to an online info session about the open call for the photography school "Visualising Spatiality, Exploring Commonalities".

During the session, applicants will learn more about:

• The programme's format: 12 online group sessions, individual mentoring, and self-organised fieldwork, running from mid-September until the end of November 2026.
• The mentor, Danish portrait photographer Martin Thaulow, and his method of working with portrait, light, and ethical documentary practice.
• The shared thematic frame — space and place — and the collective publication that will bring together participants' work from all six countries.
• Eligibility, required equipment, and the application process for the open call, which closes on 15 September 2026, 23:59 CEST.
• Questions and answers with the organisers.
