Culture Moves Europe is a Creative Europe programme of the European Union implemented by the Goethe Institute, designed to support international cooperation and co-production, meetings, exchanges, research or visits of professional events for artists and cultural professionals of Creative Europe countries. Using this mobility scheme and a straightforward but flexible application process, artists and cultural professionals can do short, medium and long-term visits to other Creative Europe countries for their professional aims alone or within a group.

During the info session, participants will learn about cultural mobility and how it can be used by representatives of various cultural sectors. Artists and cultural professionals will master development of ideas for cultural mobility, ways to find partners, and prepare the first steps needed to apply for cultural mobility support.

Sessions will also explain the practical details of Culture Moves Europe's individual mobility action application process: using the Goethe application portal, preparing needed documents, applying as an individual or a group, the next steps after receiving the grant, and the reporting process.  Participants will be able to go with an expert through the application form, ask practical questions, and receive help and suggestions for mobility. The aim of the sessions is to help writing successful applications and provide opportunities for artists and cultural professionals to receive travel grants from Culture Moves Europe

Culture Moves Europe provides mobility grants for artists and cultural professionals in all 40 creative Europe countries. It covers the sectors of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts and visual arts. With a budget of €21 million, Culture Moves Europe offers mobility grants to around 7,000 artists, cultural professionals and host organisations from 2022 to 2025.
