CASCADE: Project & Risk management workshops

On October 9th and 16th, 2025, Malý Berlín together with the IZOLYATSIA foundation will organize a series of workshops on project and risk management. 

These online capacity-building workshops are created especially to support cultural organizations in Ukraine, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, but are open to anyone across Eastern Europe who wants to strengthen their skills and toolkit.

The CASCADE project aims to help cultural spaces become drivers of change, sparking ideas and inspiring communities to shape their own futures.

  • October 16, 2025 – Risk Management with Fairooz Tamimi

Workshop Details:

Project Management

  • Date: October 9, 2025
  • Instructor: Anna Karnaukh, cofounder and director of the Lanka.pro collective. Anna has more than 15 years of experience in designing and managing programs at both Ukrainian and international levels. She led creative economy work at the British Council Ukraine and was a program lead of the EU-funded program Culture Bridges.
  • About the Workshop: This training session will introduce participants to the complete project management cycle with a focus on the specific needs of cultural organizations. We will explore how to effectively plan, implement, and monitor projects while building and sustaining strong partnerships. The session will provide practical tools and resources to help participants organize tasks, allocate resources, and coordinate teams more efficiently.

Risk Management

  • Date: October 16, 2025
  • Instructor: Fairooz Tamimi, a published author, serial entrepreneur, and ISO global expert on Sustainable Development Goals, Diversity Management, and Social Responsibility. She is certified in Business Process Re-engineering, Project Management, and Strategic Management.
  • About the Workshop: This training session will provide participants with a practical understanding of Risk Management using the PMI methodology. We will explore a structured approach to identifying, analyzing, responding to, and monitoring project risks to improve decision-making and project success rates. Participants will gain the skills to proactively manage uncertainties, minimize threats, and leverage opportunities.

The CASCADE project is funded by the Swedish Institute, implemented by Trans Europe Halles (SE), and led by TEH Easthub coordinators Malý Berlín (SK) and Izolyatsia (UA) with project partners Salaam Art Temple (AZ) and Culture and Management Lab (GE).
