CASCADE: Partnership Building Workshop

On February 4, IZOLYATSIA and Malý Berlín invite artists and cultural professionals to take part in the Partnership Building workshop.

This online workshop is designed to strengthen cultural centres and anyone eager to sharpen their toolkit. CASCADE helps cultural spaces become more than just venues: the aim is to make them drivers of change, sparking ideas and inspiring communities to shape their own futures.

The Partnership Building session focuses on turning organizations into genuine partnership hubs that create lasting cultural impact across borders.

Session details:
Feb 4, 13:00 CET – Partnership building with Michal Klembara (SK) and Mykhailo Glubokyi (UA)

About the Workshop

Partnerships are key for cultural projects in Europe. They help centres share resources, grow impact, and get funding like Creative Europe. This session will present practical strategies for partnership building that actually work. Participants will explore how to find partners who align with their values and goals, using the networks, platforms, and events already at their fingertips. The session will cover how to set up clear roles and governance structures that keep everyone aligned, and how to craft collaboration agreements that protect the relationship while giving projects room to breathe. Communication makes or breaks partnerships, so the session will address maintaining strong internal dialogue, navigating conflicts constructively, and making both remote and in-person collaboration feel seamless. The session will also challenge participants to imagine partnerships as long-term creative ecosystems, with shared visions that extend beyond individual grants and sustainable funding models that support ongoing collaboration.
