IZONE Creative Community announces the Entry Round of the Creative Business Cup Ukraine 2016. From May 1 to June 1, 2016, an online application will be open to creative entrepreneurs from Ukraine and Belarus. The Judging round will proceed from June 1 to July 1, 2016, followed by the national final round at the end of July 2016. The winner of the Creative Business Cup Ukraine will go to the international contest in Copenhagen and get the chance to improve the offer, meet the investors, and win the first prize.

IZONE is a creative community with a national and international outreach founded as a ‘for profit’ private initiative in Kyiv, Ukraine. Our mission is to champion emerging talent in contemporary practice set within the context of the arts, creative industries and technology; and to foster a dynamic environment whereby the emphasis is on the creative process, investigation and cultural production.

WHO CAN APPLY: The creative and innovative entrepreneurs from Ukraine and Belarus, who developed a creative business idea or provide a creative enterprise already. The applicant must be the author or owner of the business idea in respect of the Intellectual Property right. The idea shall be commercial and have a creative value or process at its core. The existing creative business shall not have external financing above 500,000.00 USD to the moment of application.

The examples of industries:
Advertising, Architecture, Arts and Antique Markets, Crafts, Design, Fashion, Film Video and Photography, Gastronomy, Leisure Activities, Music, Publishing, Radio & Television, Software, Computer Games and Electronic Publishing, Toys and Games, Visual and Performing Arts. The intersection and collaboration with other industries are welcome.

4. Get the invitation to the Ukrainian final contest (July 25 – August 1, 2016)

5. Win the contest and go to Copenhagen! (November 13-15, 2016)

THE JURY: The international Jury will include representatives of five spheres of creative and innovative entrepreneurship: Cultural Policy, Investments, Product Development, Marketing, and International Business. We will announce the names of our Jury during the Entry Round. The process of judging and feedback is impersonal and anonymous.

COOPERATION: The Creative Business Cup Ukraine is launched by the IZONE Creative Community. We also invite media and organisations to become our partners in championing the creative entrepreneurship.
