Art Wednesday in September
On September 7, 2016, at 7 PM, IZOLYATSIA opens the autumn season of Art Wednesday. Eight young curators from around the world will talk about their research in the field of contemporary art and their projects. The presentation is held as part of the Curatorial Program for Research (CPR) – first residency programme for international curators in Ukraine.
The series of presentations will be followed by a party and a concert featuring Kyiv-based electronic collectives. The party starts at 9 PM.
Other participants of the Art Wednesday in September include photographers and a multigenre artist.

Art Wednesday is a project aimed at creating an informal setting for open dialogue. The participants choose the format of the event themselves: it can be a presentation, exhibition, film screening, performance, lecture and/or discussion. Art Wednesday’s goal is to provide space for creative people to present their artistic practices, as well as to give them an opportunity to share information about current research and ideas, to find like-minded audiences and get an expert feedback.
